I've been a fan of Brett Favre since college. Not only do we share the same home state, but I was lucky enough to see him play against my school, Tulane back in 1986 or 1987, I forget which year but he was a second string quarterback from USM (Southern Mississippi) until that career-making game.
I think he's likely one of the last true athlete gentlemen in the game, the Manning brothers likely being all that's left. What a great guy, and what a great loss for football.
