Donald Trump Misses Interest Payment
More evidence the New York meglamaniac isn't quite the 'billionaire' or 'business genius' he wants the rest of us to think he is.
Brangelina Buy An Obnoxious House In France
No doubt this is where they'll raise their legions of adopted children used for various P.R. opportunities. Still, 34 bedrooms? How sickening.
Hulk Hogan's Son Gets 8 Mths. In Jail
Nick Hogan sentenced in felony reckless driving case...But WHY are we still talking about Hulk Hogan or his trashy spawn in the year 2008?
I run a little on the conservative side but this shit was over the top, even for me. Having coffee and watching local ABC News coverage of Pope Benedict's departure from Andrews Air Force Base in D.C. on his way to New York, I choked-up when seeing a member of the U.S. Military's departure party bend down and kiss his ring, and not in a good way. There's a Founding Father turning over in his vault somewhere.
It might be easy enough to pass it off as a simple mistake of military protocol if it hadn't been for the officer making worshipful prayer hands and bowing to "His Holiness" not once but twice. Perhaps more. At that point, I was dry heaving. Just where does this man's alligiance lie and why hasn't the military made him aware of this gaff and its insult to those of us who don't worship foreign leaders in white gowns and Prada slippers? Shame on you!

I don't agree with Nancy Pelosi kissing the ring of the pope but then I am not Catholic.
The young man is serving his Country and exercising his right of religious freedom, two actions which are not mutually exclusive. Both activities are noble pursuits, guaranteed to the citizens of this country. Moreover, by wearing his Country's uniform in these uncertain times, it is not for you to question the young man's patriotism, as you have yet to don those sacred vestments. The practice of observing the time honored customs of ones’ faith, should not lead to cries of unpatriotic behavior. Shame on you.
